Abstract #

This report summarizes the work done as part of my graduation project within the

Ministry of Tourism. The project objective is the realization of a Big Data solution that extracts

data from Twitter, to analyze the opinion expressed by Twitter users towards Morocco as a

tourist destination, and view the results.

Before turning to the functional details of the solution, a study of the existing within the

Ministry to identify needs related to e-reputation, and expectations of stakeholders from my

project. This is done using a predefined search methodology.

Then I led a study on e-reputation in the tourism sector, the advent of Web 2.0 and Big

Data, and then another study on the use of technology to analyze Big Data and visualize the

opinions of tourists on Twitter; to have a solid background before starting the realization part.

The modeling of information flows, use cases of the solution, interaction user interfaces

and deliverables are necessary. For this reason, I spent a part in the overall design of the

solution. While the second part, I realized a practical benchmark of few bricks of my solution.

Finally, I presented the different components of my solution and the interactions

between them, the last part is a tangible example of the proposed solution.
